A young man from West Hartford is being blamed for ruining Labor Day festivities for some Glastonbury residents after he allegedly caused power outages there.
According to the Hartford Courant, Jeremy Ryan, 24, of South Main Street, was driving intoxicated when he crashed his car on Diamond Lake Road in Glastonbury Monday morning. The crash reportedly took down two utility poles and disrupted power to the neighborhood until evening.
