West Hartford Police Hire Four New Officers

All four will begin training at the police academy on Friday.

West Hartford Police Chief Tracey Gove announces the hiring of four new officers on Oct. 1, 2012. These new officers are:

  • Officer Ryan Dudzinski
  • Officer Tory Lukas
  • Officer Injik Lee
  • Officer Christopher Leonard

Officer Dudzinski has a Bachelor’s Degree from Western New England College. Officer Dudzinski played left-field and was a designated hitter for his college baseball team. He grew up in Bristol, CT.

Officer Lukas has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Western New England University. He grew up in Vernon, CT.

Officer Lee graduated from Drexel University in Pennsylvania in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Informational Systems. He has spent the last four years in Korea teaching English at the Middle School grade level. He can also read and write in the Korean language, and has a black belt in Tae Kwan Do. He grew up in Brookfield, CT.

Officer Leonard has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Connecticut. He grew up in Tolland, CT.

These officers will begin their training at the police academy on Friday. With the hiring of these officers, the department is left with six vacant positions.
