West Hartford Police Log for Dec. 17 - 19: Suspected Car Thief, Accomplice Apprehended

The following information was provided by the West Hartford police. It does not indicate convictions.

The following arrests were made between Dec. 17 - 19, and are listed in chronological order. Information was provided by the West Hartford Police Department, 103 Raymond Road. Some charges may stem from multiple arrests; bond listed when available; arrests do not indicate convictions:

Louis Anthony Scinta, 18, of 33 Linard Drive, was charged on Dec. 19 with illegal possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession near a school. Bond was set at $1,000. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 2.

Michael Calle, 18, of 130 Kane St., Apt. D1, was charged on Dec. 19 with illegal possession, misuse of plates, risk of injury to a minor, theft of plate, illegal possession of marijuana, illegal sale of narcotics. Bond was set at $10,000. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 2. Calle allegedly had a stolen plate, crack cocaine, and more than .5 ounce of marijuana with the intent to sell, according to police.

Melissa Dalmazzi, 44, of Farmington, was charged on Dec. 19 with operating under the influence. Bond was set at $500. She is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 4.

Daniel Norman Poole, 50, of New Britain, was charged on Dec. 19 with illegal possession and restricted turns failure to signal. Bond was set at $10,000. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 2. Poole allegedly was in possession of heroin during a motor vehicle stop, according to police.

Michael Gordon, 44, of Brooklyn, was charged on Dec. 19 with second-degree harassment and second-degree threatening. Bond was set at $5,000. He was scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Dec. 20.

Danielle Lafrance, 31, of Bristol, was charged on Dec. 19 with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $2,500. She is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 2. Lafrance allegedly was found to be in possession of cocaine during a motor vehicle stop, according to police.

Alexander Swinford, 19, of Simsbury, was charged on Dec. 18 with possession of less than .5 an ounce of marijuana, illegal possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, restricted turns. Bond was set at $5,000. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 2. Swinford allegedly was found to be in possession of heroin after a motor vehicle stop, according to police.

Eliana Lapreziosa 41, of Middletown, was charged on Dec. 18 with second-degree harassment. Bond was set at $5,000. She was scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Dec. 19.

German Colon, 28, of New Britain, was charged on Dec. 17 with third-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, possession of less than .5 an ounce of marijuana and operating a motor vehicle without a license. Bond was set at $2,500. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 2. Colon, according to police, allegedly stole a car in New Britain and was apprehended in West Hartford.

Erick Rios, 32, of New Britain, was charged on Dec. 17 with third-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny. Bond was set at $2,500. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 2. Rios, according to police, allegedly was a passenger in a vehicle that was stolen in Manchester.

Michael Ortega, 22, of Hartford, was charged on Dec. 17 with third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny and interfering with an officer. Bond was set at $50,000. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 2.

Jose Ofray, 20, of Hartford, was charged on Dec. 17 with third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny and interfering with an officer. Bond was set at $50,000. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 2.
