The following arrests were made between Dec. 31, 2013 - Jan. 3, 2014 and are listed in chronological order. Information was provided by the West Hartford Police Department, 103 Raymond Road. Some charges may stem from multiple arrests; bond listed when available; arrests do not indicate convictions:

Janice Gowell, 34, of Middletown, was charged on Jan. 3 with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $1,000. She is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 16.

Hugo Lalles, 21, of Hartford, was charged on Jan. 3 with third-degree assault, two counts of disorderly conduct, two counts of criminal violation of protective order - threatening, one count of criminal violation of protective order non-threatening and third-degree criminal mischief. Bond was set at $25,000. He was scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 6.

David Candelaria, 19, of 387 Prospect Ave., was charged on Jan. 3 with three counts of first-degree failure to appear. Bond was set at $20,000, $200,000 and $400,000, respectively. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 16.

Dalas Elder, 66, of 36 Beacon St., Apt. 203, was charged on Jan. 2 with second-degree criminal trespass. Bond was set at $5,000. She is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 8.

Donald Reale, 37, of New Britain, was charged on Jan. 2 with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $2,500. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 16.

Michelle Roberts, 25, of New Britain, was charged on Jan. 2 with illegal possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and restricted turns failure to signal. Bond was set at $2,500. She is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 16.

Andrew Clark Mathes, 28, of Bristol, was charged on Jan. 1 with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $5,000. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 9.

Brittany Octavia Morgan, 27, of Cheshire, was charged on Jan. 1 with operating under the influence and driving while registration was suspended. Bond was set at $1,000. She is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 9.

William Michael Kato, 46, of 689 Farmington Ave., was charged on Jan. 1 with operating under the influence and several moving violations. Bond was set at $1,000. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 9.

Edwin Kayvon Maldonado, 23, of Hartford, was charged on Dec. 31 with illegal possession, possession of less than .5 ounces of marijuana and illegal sale of marijuana. Bond was set at $15,000. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 9.
