West Hartford Police Log for Dec. 6 - 8: Three Arrested After Altercation Leads to Gun Discharge

The following arrests were made between Dec. 6 - Dec. 8, and are listed in reverse chronological order. Information was provided by the West Hartford Police Department, 103 Raymond Road. Some charges may stem from multiple arrests; bond listed when available; arrests do not indicate convictions:

Brian Cormier, 36, of Manchester, was charged on Dec. 8 with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Bond was set at $1,000. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Dec. 19.

Jenna Barber, 22, of 1195 New Britain Ave., was charged on Dec. 8 with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $25,000. She was scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Dec. 9.

Stephen Winalski, 29, of 38 Greenhouse Blvd., was charged on Dec. 8 with failure to obey traffic signal, possession of less than .5 an ounce of marijuana and illegal possession. Bond was set at $1,500. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Dec. 19.

Rocco Chambrello, 33, of New Britain, was charged on Dec. 8 with interfering with an officer, operating a motor vehicle with license or registration suspended or revoked, improper use of a bicycle and driving in the right-hand lane. Chambrello was allegedly observed riding a scooter on the sidewalk and failing to stop and taking off on the scooter.

Paul Ramos, 34, of 212 Trout Brook Drive, was charged on Dec. 8 with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace. Bond was set at $30,000. He was scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Dec. 9.

Mariusz Majewski, 23, of New Britain, was charged on Dec. 8 with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening. Bond was set at $5,000. He was scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Dec. 11.

Michal Osowiecki, 20, of New Britain, was charged on Dec. 8 with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening. Bond was set at $5,000. He was scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Dec. 11.

Michal Szypt, 30, of Middletown, was charged on Dec. 8 with unlawful discharge of a firearm. Bond was set at $250,000. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Dec. 19.

Abdallah Alsaqri, 21, of Newington, was charged on Dec. 7 with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol and traveling unreasonably fast. Bond was set at $500. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Dec. 19.

Gene Hilton, 41, of East Hartford, was charged on Dec. 7 with conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and sixth-degree larceny. He was scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Dec. 11.

Desmond Ray Sherman, 27, of East Hartford, was charged on Dec. 7 with conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and sixth-degree larceny. He was scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Dec. 11.

Melody Anne Latti, 28, of New Britain, was charged on Dec. 7 with illegal possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to keep drugs in original container, sixth-degree larceny and possession of a shoplifting device. Bond was set at $10,000. She is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Dec. 19.

Justin Shanks, 31, of New Britain, was charged on Dec. 7 with illegal possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to keep drugs in original container, sixth-degree larceny, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, no insurance and operating while registration was revoked or suspended. Bond was set at $10,000. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Dec. 19.

Colleen Ferrary, 44, of 226 Griswold Drive, was charged on Dec. 7 with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol, evading responsibility and failure to drive in the proper lane. Bond was set at $1,000. No court information was available.

Joshua Wilson, 30, of Hartford, was charged on Dec. 6 with sixth-degree larceny. He was scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Dec. 11.

Annie Plourde, 33, of Bristol, was charged on Dec. 6 with illegal possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to drive in the proper lane. Bond was set at $10,000. She is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Dec. 19.
