West Hartford Police Log for Sept. 7 - 8

The following arrests were made between Sept. 7 - 8, and are listed in reverse chronological order. Information was provided by the West Hartford Police Department, 103 Raymond Road. Some charges may stem from multiple arrests; bond listed when available; arrests do not indicate convictions:
Carol Goodyear, 57, of 14 Green Acres, was charged on Sept. 8 with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol and failure to drive right. Bond was set at $5,000. She is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Sept. 19.
Jash Manuel Resto, 31, of 134 Maplewood Ave., was charged on Sept. 8 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $5,000. He was scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Sept. 9.

Ricky Witherspoon, 26, of New Britain, was charged on Sept. 8 with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol, failure to drive in the proper lane and restricted turns - failure to signal. Bond was set at $500. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Sept. 19.
Jonathan McKinley, 19, of Mount Vernon, NY, was charged on Sept. 7 with disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $5,000. He was scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Sept. 9.

Luis Rojas, 39, of Hartford, was charged on Sept. 7 with sixth-degree larceny and manufacturing or possession of burglar’s tools. Bond was set at $5,000. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Sept. 19.
Peter Otero, 25, of Hartford, was charged on Sept. 7 with two counts of first-degree failure to appear. Bond was set at $150,000 for each count. Otero was also charged on Sept. 7 with sixth-degree larceny, criminal impersonation, interfering with an officer, manufacturing or possession of burglar’s tools and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $7,500. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Sept. 19.
Eric Kycia, 26, of Ansonia, was charged on Sept. 7 with second-degree failure to appear. Bond was set at $10,000. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Oct. 1. He was also charged on Sept. 7 with two counts of first-degree failure to appear. Bond was set at $50,000 and $100,000 for the separate charges.
Willie Christiana, 41, of Hartford, was charged on Sept. 7 with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol and improper use of high beams. Bond was set at $10,000. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Sept. 19.
