West Hartford Police: Man Hid Heroin in Buttocks

An Ellington man is facing several charges after West Hartford police discovered on Monday that he had heroin hidden in his buttocks.

Christopher Brown, 29, of 34 Stein Road, was pulled over by West Hartford police on a traffic stop, when he was found to have a needle in his pocket. A subsequent search revealed that Brown also had 10 bags of heroin concealed in his buttocks, according to Lt. Ted Stoneburner.

Brown was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia and bond was set at $1,000. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Dec. 5.
