West Hartford Police Urge People Not to Drive While Intoxicated

Chief Tracey Gove encourages people to use a designated driver or call a cab.

The following is a press release:

Chief Tracey Gove wants to make drivers aware that the West Hartford Police Department will be aggressively enforcing DWI laws to keep our streets safe. In addition to aggressive enforcement the department will be deploying officers that are specially trained in DUI detection on extra patrols. So far this year, 184 drivers have been arrested for DUI in West Hartford.

We are encouraging everyone to drive carefully and have a safe and happy holiday season. Please use a designated driver or take a cab if you have been drinking.
