West Hartford Police: Vehicle Passenger With 91 Fake IDs Also Charged as Fugitive

The 43-year-old man, who is homeless according to police, was also found with 19 forged checks and fireworks.

A passenger in a vehicle that West Hartford Police initially stopped for an equipment violation shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday was found to be in possession of 91 pieces of false identification, 19 forged checks, and illegal fireworks.

Police said that an NCIC check also revealed that the man had an extraditable warrant out of Virginia for aiding in concealing stolen goods.

Omar M. Williams, who police say is homeless, was charged Saturday with 91 counts of second-degree forgery, 19 counts of third-degree forgery, sale/use/possession of fireworks, and as a fugitive from justice.

According to police, he is being held on combined bond of $500,000.
