Update: Kingswood Oxford Dean Dies After Crash with West Hartford School Bus

The students on board were not injured, according to reports.

Update: 5:04 p.m.
The woman who died as a result of injuries sustained after a car accident today has been identified as Patricia Rosoff, according to the Hartford Courant.

She is listed as academic dean of humanities at Kingswood Oxford School. Rosoff was an accomplished writer and artist.

The accident is under investigation and any witnesses are asked to call West Hartford Police at 860-523-5203.

Update: 10:45 a.m.
The driver of the car that collided with a West Hartford school bus Tuesday morning has died, according to a report on NBC30.com quoting a police source.

Police have yet to release the victim's identity.

Students and the bus driver were reportedly unharmed in the incident, which is still under investigation.

West Hartford police confirmed that a car and school bus were involved in an accident this morning, at Boulevard and Mountain Roads.

The driver of the car had to be extricated from their car and was taken to an area hospital, the Hartford Courant reports. The 22 children on board were evaluated by medical personnel and did not sustain injuries, according to the Hartford Courant.
