Future Paving Plans Announced

John Phillips, Director of Public Works for the Town of West Hartford, has announced that a number of streets will be repaved before the end of the road construction season.

A Patch reader posed a question last week about plans for paving roads throughout town, and the estimated costs for that work.

John Phillips, Director of for the Town of West Hartford, provided the following information:

Farmington Avenue: We plan to mill and pave from Whiting Lane to Ardmore Road. We will only pave the center, 28 feet wide, except for full width at the Quaker Lane intersection. The milling, paving, and striping will cost $68,000.
