VP Candidate Congressman Paul Ryan to Visit West Hartford on Sunday

Planning committee for Sunday's fundraiser, which will take place at the home of Arnold and Sandy Chase, met with Presidential candidate Gov. Mitt Romney's brother last weekend.

Submitted by Amy DeGraff, President, West Hartford Republican Women's Club

On Sunday, September 23, members of the co-host planning committee and their guests attended a small reception with Gov. Mitt Romney's older brother, Scott.

At the reception Scott Romney talked about the campaign's plans for the last weeks of the election, battleground states, and strategies for the debates.

During the question and answer, club member Joe Visconti asked Scott to tell us about his younger brother. After a few cute stories about their childhood, Mitt and Ann, and the family, Scott said, "He's my hero."

There were about 80 people in attendance, including the Chases who have graciously offered their home for this weekend's fundraiser.
