Bristow Students Deliver Thanksgiving Dinners to Food Pantry

Each of Bristow's 7th grade advisory groups collected a complete Thanksgiving dinner for donation to the West Hartford Food Pantry.

A food drive conducted by 7th graders at Bristow Middle School will ensure that 12 West Hartford families will have full turkey dinners this Thanksgiving.

The students worked in their advisory groups to collect 12 complete dinners including a turkey, stuffing, vegetables for traditional side dishes, and dessert. Many also collected additional food as well as financial donations to the food pantry.

Last Wednesday, a group of students along with teacher Lauren Maisch delivered the dinners, plus quite a bit of extra donated food, to the West Hartford Food Pantry at Town Hall.
