Conard Coach Cersosimo Honored Last Week at UConn Game

Head football coach Rob Cersosimo of Conard High School in West Hartford will be officially inducted into the Connecticut High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame at a dinner at the Aqua Turf in November.

Rob Cersosimo, who has been Conard's head football coach since 1984, will officially join his father-in-law (and predecessor as Conard's coach) Bob McKee as a member of the Connecticut High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame on Nov. 15.

Last Saturday, Cersosimo, McKee, current and former Conard football players, fellow coaches, Conard administrators and teachers, and dozens of friends and family members were on hand at the UConn vs. Temple football game at Rentschler Field where Cersosimo and the eight other Hall of Fame inductees were honored at halftime.

Many of those in attendance wore shirts honoring Coach "C," which the Cersosimo family has been selling to raise money for a scholarship fund.
