Conard Seniors Named National Merit Commended Scholars

Eight members of the Conard class of 2013 have been recognized.

Conard High School would like to recognize and congratulate the following students who have been named Commended Students in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program. These students are Michael Farrell, Colleen Litchfield, Theodore Monyak, YouYou Tian, Owen Wilcox, Alexander Wittstein, Julia Appicelli and Andrew Bertini.

These commended students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2013 competition by taking the 2011 PSAT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test). About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the United States are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise.

Hi Barbara, We are so sorry this happened. Last night we added 200 sites to our great new BetaRead More platform and we think that made our newsletter server go haywire. Our engineers are hard at work to fix this bug and we are hopeful that things will be much smoother on Thursday.
