Book Talk by Cathryn Prince: "A Professor, A President, and A Meteor"

In December 1807, the first observed meteorite fall in the United States landed in Weston Connecticut.  The “Professor” is Benjamin Silliman from Yale University, and the “President” is Thomas Jefferson.  Author Cathryn Prince, a freelance journalist and adjunct professor at Quinnipiac University, recounts the fascinating unfolding of this story, with its many Connecticut connections.
