FERTILE GROUND Breakfast on IMMIGRANT EXPERIENCE

What if your grandmother from the old country had been treated the way immigrants are today?  Hear Chris George of Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services (IRIS) talk about the immigrant experience at the next session of Fertile Ground on Saturday, January 21st at the Universalist Church of West Hartford, 433 Fern Street.   With an increasing number of immigrant families in West Hartford, you will find this an enlightening discussion.  Fertile Ground is a community-networking breakfast series for individuals and organizations involved in social action, services and programs.  A continental breakfast starts at 9:30AM and the program follows from 10 to noon.  For more information, contact Sue Wilson at 860-523-9970 or swplanner@sbcglobal.net.
