Former Deputy Speaker of Knesset to Urge Two-State Solution at University of Hartford

Colette Avital, former Deputy Speaker of Knesset and Israeli Consul General to NYC, will argue, on June 13, 2011 at 7 pm at University of Hartford, Wilde Auditorium, that a two-state solution is the only way to protect Israel’s future as a Jewish homeland and a democracy.  The event, “Ensuring Israel’s Security by Achieving Peace,” is co-sponsored by J Street Connecticut and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater New Hartford and is free and open to the public.
