How to Download E-Books for Loan (For Beginners)

On MONDAY MARCH 19 at 6:30PM library patrons can learn how to download books for loan from the library, including Adobe EPUB eBooks and Adobe PDF eBooks. Once downloaded, titles can be read on a computer, or may be transferred to supported portable devices. Find out what books are available, and how you use the free software needed for downloading. Program length: approx. 60-90 min.

The downloadable collection includes bestsellers, classics, fiction, and non-fiction.

Participants may bring their own laptop, Nook, Kindle, iPod, MP3 player, or other portable device to learn how to use it with ebooks or audio books.

Location: Noah Webster Library Meeting Room, 20 South Main Street, Lower Level, near the Children’s Room.

Program led by Max Rowe of Library Connection. No registration needed. First come; first seated.
