International and New York Times bestselling author Steve Berry will conduct a History Matters writers workshop on November 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hoadley Auditorium at the Connecticut Historical Society at 1 Elizabeth Street in Hartford. Known for his meticulously researched thrillers with a historical twist, Berry will teach the craft of writing, including story structure, effective dialog, point of view and his 10 Rules of Writing. The workshop will include a discussion of the business of writing by Elizabeth Berry who will draw on her expertise as the Executive Director of International Thriller Writers and her work as a literary marketing and sales professional.
