Model Trains On Display In West Hartford This Weekend

HO and N scale model train layouts will be running Saturday, April 9, and Sunday, April 10, at Sedgwick Middle School.

The school’s Technology Student Association hosts the train show as a
fundraiser each year and to provide a family-friendly event. The show
is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

The displays will include the Torrington Area Model Railroaders’ HO
scale layout and Valley N-Trak’s N scale layout. There will be several
other exhibits, including magnetic levitation vehicles, train
simulators hands on displays.

Admission is adults $3, seniors $2, students $1, and children under 10
are free.  There will a bake sale at the door.

The Technology Student Association is a national school based
organization for students interested in all areas of technology.  The
members of the Sedgwick TSA chapter are presenting this show for the 5th year with the support of the TAMR and N-Trak members.  It is the annual fundraiser to help with the cost of members attending
conferences at the state and national level.
