Morley Hosts Workshop on Stress Reduction

The Morley School Improvement Council invites parents and teachers town-wide to attend a workshop, Helping Students Flourish: Strategies to Reduce Stress and Promote Resilience.

The workshop will take place on Monday, April 2, 6:30 to 8 p.m., in the Auditorium on Bretton Road off Fern Street.  Refreshments will be served.

The Morley Elementary School’s Improvement Council (SIC) has a long history of serving Morley parents by offering successful workshops enriching parent skill base and awareness on effective ways of raising children and good students. The Love and Logic series has been attended by over 350 Morley parents who have benefited from simple and practical techniques in changing children’s unwanted behavior. Last year, the SIC offered a special workshop by the Yale Parenting Center which offered parenting skills in effective discipline.
