The West Hartford Citizens for Peace and Justice invites the public to an afternoon of reflections on Islam, including reading from the Qur'an guided by members of the Muslim community. Andrew Schneider, executive director of the Connecticut chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union and Rabia Chaudry, president-elect of the Muslim Coalition of Connecticut, will discuss "Islamophobia and its relevance to our values, mutual security and civil liberties."
