Come check out our West Hartford Toastmasters Club!

If you have been considered checking out Toastmasters (a club for those seeking to improve their public speaking and leadership skills) this is a great week to come check out a meeting. Instead of our traditional meeting we are conducting a speech contest where members really get the opportunity to shine. Like our regular bi-monthly meetings it will be a learning experience for everyone involved and those brave members who volunteer to speak build their confidence and those who listen learn too. I would love to see some new West Hartford faces that want to come and check it out for yourself as it’s a great first step towards you improving your listening skills, and may be the nudge you need to come join our club and try public speaking in a supportive environment. Woody Allen’s reminds us, “Ninety percent of success is just showing up!” Hope to see you there.

  • Gather for conversation at 5:30 PM.
  • Business meeting and Educational Program starts at 5:45 PM prompt.
  • Meeting adjourns at 7:15 PM
