seniors Aidan Coll and Perri Silverhart, and seniors Jane Giuffrida and Neal Hambrecht, are among those awarded Scholar-Athlete honors for 2012 by the CIAC.
The award is determined based on the following criteria, according to the CIAC website: "The Scholar-Athlete Program annually recognizes two high school seniors - one boy and one girl - from each member high school whose academic and athletic careers have been exemplary, whose personal standards and achievements are a model to others, and who possess high levels of integrity, self-discipline and courage."
The honorees were recognized at a banquest held at the Aqua Turf in Southington on May 6.
