Viewfinder: Hall Girls Swimming & Diving Laps Berlin 100-78

Undefeated season remains intact, after strong showings in every event.

When the and Berlin High Swimming & Diving teams entered the pool for Tuesday's meet, there was a total of only one defeat among the two teams' records. The Berlin team (8-1) came to in West Hartford with its heart set on adding a loss to Hall's thus far unblemished (6-0) season record.

Berlin's hopes were quickly dashed as Hall took a commanding 50-12 lead going into the diving event. Hall earned that early lead by winning the first four events, and earning two 1-2-3 finishes in two of the four.

After the diving, the Hall swimmers picked up where they left off by taking first place in the next three events and adding another 1-2-3 finish in the 500 Free.

Berlin looks to wrap up their regular season schedule at Southington on Friday, Oct. 28. Hall will put their undefeated record on the line against crosstown rival on Thursday, Oct. 27, at Cornerstone Aquatics Center.
