[UPDATED] Duffy Elementary and Hall High Schools Closed on Thursday

Power could not be restored in time for delayed openings.

According to the superintendent's office, Duffy Elementary School will now be closed for the entire day. The power outage in that area is taking longer to repair than originally anticipated, according to a spokesperson.

ORIGINAL STORY

West Hartford Public Schools have announced that Hall High School will now be closed for the day, Thursday, Jan. 31. Power is still out and cannot be restored in time to accommodate the two-hour delay that was originally scheduled.

Duffy Elementary School has a two-hour delay and is scheduled to open at 10:35 a.m.

No other West Hartford schools are impacted at this time.
