Kingswood Oxford to Host 'Free Skate' for Families on New Year's Day

Children up to age 14 can skate for free with an adult.

Kingwood Oxford will host a "Free Skate" event this year on New Year's Day.

According to a release from the school, Kingswood's Brayton Ice Hockey Rink will be open from 10 a.m. to noon on New Year's Day for use by children up to age 14 and their parents.

Kingswood has 75 pairs of adult-sized skates available, but children must bring their own skates and helmets.

Complimentary refreshments will be available in addition to the free skating.

Children must be accompanied by an adult, and up to 175 skaters will be allowed on the ice at a time. Free parking is available in the school's Trout Brook Dr. parking area adjacent to the rink.
