Magnet School Information Meetings To Be Held

West Hartford parents interested in learning more about the district's two magnet elementary schools are invited to attend one of the following Parent Information Meetings:

Thursday, March 15, 2012, 6:30 p.m.: , 64 St. James Street

Thursday, March 8, 2012, 6:30 p.m.: , 425 Oakwood Ave.

At each of these meetings, you will be able to hear descriptions of the program offered at that magnet school, take a tour of the magnet school, get answers to your questions on the magnet school application process, and pick-up magnet school applications.

Magnet school brochures and enrollment applications will be available at school offices throughout the district beginning Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012.

Magnet applications must be must be received by the Residency Office, Room 154, Town Hall, 50 South Main St., West Hartford, CT 06107, by 4:00 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2012. The lottery results will be mailed on April 6, 2012.
