Northwest Catholic Girls Heading Back to Class M Soccer Finals

The top-ranked girls team is looking to continue finish the season unbeaten and repeat as Class M champions.

The top-seeded Northwest Catholic (West Hartford) girls soccer team defeated Lewis Mills (Burlington) 5-1 on Saturday morning at Middletown High School, avenging a semi-final loss against the Spartans two years ago.

Northwest goals were scored by Maddie Borowiec (2), Jessica Fontaine, Annie Higgins, and Michelle Medina.

Northwest will face #6 seed St. Joseph, which defeated Rocky Hill 6-0 in Saturday's other semi-final match,  in the class M state championship game next week.
