Photo Gallery: Northwest Catholic Girls Soccer Heads to Class M Championships

The #1-seeded Northwest Catholic girls soccer team defeated St. Joseph 4-1 for a spot in the championship game.

With a record of 15-0-1 (not including post-season games), the girls soccer team, seeded #1 in Class M, defeated St. Joseph (14-1-1) by a score of 4-1 Friday night in a game played at Municipal Stadium in Waterbury.

Mitchy Medina scored the first and last goals for the Indians, and Maddie Borowiec and Nikki Medina also scored.

Northwest meets the #2 seed – Granby Memorial – on Friday, Nov. 25 in Middletown for the Class M championship game.
