Rachel Aronow Named Academic All-American for Lacrosse

The Hall High School junior is also a standout soccer and hockey player.

Rachel Aronow, a junior at , has been named Academic All-American by U.S. Lacrosse.  

"As a coach, I can't think of any greater award for an individual to earn than Academic All-American," said Steve Boyle, head girls lacrosse coach at Hall.

"It is the true student-athlete award representing everything we stand for as educators. It show one's prowess both in the classroom and on the field. The fact that Rachel earned this prestigious recognition is tremendous as it also is an award for her school, her teammates, her parents and all of the teachers and adults that have worked with her. We are so proud of her and appreciate U.S. Lacrosse giving her this recognition," said Boyle.

According to Boyle, Rachel has a 4.197 GPA and was also named first team All-State for girls lacrosse. She also plays soccer for Hall and helped anchor the defense for the WarChiefs, the Hall/Conard co-op that earlier this year became .  

She hopes to continue to play sports at the collegiate level.
