Schools Issue Alert, Police Seek Man Who Exposed Himself

West Hartford police are looking for a man who reportedly exposed himself to two middle school students on Tuesday.
Schools sent an email alert on Wednesday morning warning parents that a 12-year-old girl reported seeing a silver car driving south on Fairlee Road near on Tuesday. The man drove by the 12-year-old girl and another student twice. The second time he drove by, the student reported, he wasn't wearing any pants and exposed himself.
The man was described as a white male, 30 to 40 years old, overweight, with brown hair and a bald spot on top. He was wearing a blue zip-up sweater with a yellow undershirt and dark sunglasses.

The car was described as silver with a white license plate with blue and red lettering.
The alert sent to parents said that West Hartford police had increased patrols in the area and around all schools. It also reminded parents to tell their children to use the three Rs (Run, Remember and Report) if they are approached by a stranger.
