Sedgwick Middle School Administrator Leaving West Hartford
Neela Thakur has been hired in Wethersfield.
Sedgwick Middle School is losing assistant principal Neela Thakur to a school in her hometown, according to a Courant report.
Thakur, who has been an administrator at Sedgwick since 2003, has been appointed principal of Emerson-Williams Elementary School in Wethersfield. According to the report, Thakur lives in Wethersfield and her two children attended the district’s schools.
Thakur said she was excited to have the opportunity to lead her own school.
