West Hartford Unified Theater Students to Perform as Part of Check Presentation

About 60 students from Sedgwick Middle School will perform as Unified Theater Inc. receives a $91,000 grant.

Sixty Unified Theater performers from Sedgwick Middle School, including students with and without disabilities, will perform on Friday Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. as part of a State Farm Youth Advisory Board check presentation to Unified Theater Inc.  

Students will perform a short preview of their 10th Annual Production which opens Nov. 21.    

In the check presentation, Unified Theater Inc, a national not-for-profit based in Hartford, will receive a $91,450 grant from the State Farm Youth Advisory Board to create and support youth-led performing arts programs that bring students with and without disabilities, of all backgrounds, together as equals across the United States.
