Middlewoods of Farmington Golf Open!

Each month, residents of Middlewoods of Farmington Assisted and Independent Living Community gather for the “Middlewoods Golf Open,” a community golf tournament in which residents compete on a five-hole course throughout the first floor of the building. The course, aptly named the “Putter’s Paradise,” by Activities Director, Ginny Brown, weaves its way through multiple challenges, with fairways and greens located in some most interesting and unexpected spots. On Thursday, July 17th, residents Bruce Faulkner and Harry Azarigan were tied at the end of the tournament but after three competitive “Sudden Death” holes, Faulkner was declared the winner! Residents posed for a photo with Faulkner and his trophy after the exciting win.

Middlewoods of Farmington is located at 509 Middle Road in Farmington and is owned and operated by UMH, a local, faith-based, not-for-profit organization based in Shelton, Connecticut.  For more information about this award-winning community, please contact Katie at 860-284-5700 or visit www.middlewoodsoffarmington.org.
