Smith STEM School Stacks it up for the Hungry

Smith STEM School Students stack it up for the Hungry while also trying to break the Guinness World Record!
          
  Smith STEM Schools students spent the last two weeks in the gym with Physical Education Teacher Kathy Miller learning the technique of sport stacking. Using specially designed speedstack cups,  the students stacked in different mathematical patterns,  free-stacking, partner challenges, group challenges and class challenges. This project also brought in over 250 canned goods for the West Hartford Food Pantry as part of the project. The school was registered along with 2800 plus other schools across the globe to break the Guinness record for students stacking in multiple locations on the same day! WE DID IT! Over 545,00 stackers reported with still more coming in!
