Annual Ferrari & Friends Concorso

The annual Ferrari and Friends Concorso, a charity event that features a show of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Maserati, Detomaso and more, will take place this year on La Salle Road in West Hartford on July 1st from 11AM to 3PM. Proceeds from the Concorso will benefit Make-A-Wish® Connecticut, whose mission is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, as well as Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

Presented by the New England Region of the Ferrari Club of America, the Concorso is centered around kids and enhancing the life of children. The Concorso will feature a Ferrari Parade of Children with 40 kids in 40 cars. The children will be escorted in a featured Italian automobile from the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center building in Farmington to La Salle Road in West Hartford, where Clear Channel Radio’s Renee DeNino will join as an honorary guest, announcing each child one by one as they exit their vehicles - an experience of a lifetime for the kids!

The parade will begin at 11:00AM. Immediately following the parade will be a fantastic car show of over 100 Italian sports cars on La Salle Road from 11:00AM to 3:00PM...spectators can come check it out for free!

About Make-A-Wish® Connecticut

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Connecticut grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.  Wish-come-true experiences can do wonders by providing a much-needed break from lengthy hospital stays and medical treatments. They give back to a child what a serious medical condition can take away—the chance to simply enjoy being a kid, choose something that will inspire happiness, and spend precious time with their families. The Connecticut chapter has made over 2,000 wishes come true since its inception in 1986.
