Boston Flower and Garden Show, Boston
Celebrate Spring with a visit to the Boston Flower and Garden Show at the Seaport World Trade Center. The theme of the 2011 Flower Show will be "A Burst of Color: Celebrating the Container Garden." The show will focus on this popular trend by mixing examples of the endless creative possibilities of containers into all of its gardens and special displays. Stroll through dozens of colorful landscapes, enjoy hundreds of floral displays, participate in garden seminars and workshops, and view the juried exhibits. There is a retail garden marketplace you may visit to purchase garden related goods, along with food tastings, and stands with speciality goods, such as hand made soaps and lotion. There will be time on your own in Faneuil Hall Marketplace/North End after the show. Trip includes: motorcoach, escort, and admission to the Flower Show. Meals on your own.
Cost for trips includes non-refundable but transferable (to another person) fee. Everyone must pay the full tuition. No tuition waivers apply. On rare occasions the bus company may cancel a trip due to severe weather conditions. Reminder: Absolutely no drinking of alcoholic beverages allowed on the bus.
