Mandell JCC February Sports Vacation Baseball Clinic Featuring Ray Romero, Tuesday, February 21, 2012

Step up to the plate and round the bases for the Mandell JCC’s Baseball Clinic featuring Ray Romero during February Vacation on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Mandell JCC, Zachs Campus, 335 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, CT. The program is for children ages 7 through 12.

Ray Romero is a former Division 1 baseball player from Yale University, and has coached for American Legion Little League players and teams over the past twenty years. Mr. Romero specializes in throwing mechanics, especially for the players in the pitching position. The clinic will also feature a special guest appearance by Jim Gonzalez. Mr. Gonzalez is a former First Round Draft pick for the Houston Astros. He is currently an Associate Scouting Coach for the Boston Red Sox.

Tickets for the Mandell JCC Baseball Clinic Featuring Ray Romero are $45 per person for all members of the Mandell JCC, and $50 per person for all non-members. Participants are requested to provide their own baseball glove, bat, water bottle and snack.
