It's 'Friday Night Lights' at Wolcott Park

The West Hartford Youth Baseball League is sponsoring events every Friday night.

is the only athletic field in West Hartford that has permanently-installed lights, and it has long been a hub of activity on Friday nights during the spring baseball season, when friends and family members gather to watch a game and socialize.

In the spirit of "family, fun, and baseball," the West Hartford Youth Baseball League (WHYBL) has decided to add to the Friday night experience, by offering races, contests, and trivia games, in addition to the scheduled Friday night doubleheader.

The inaugural Friday Night Lights event was held on May 4, with WHYBL alum Torrie Green winning the tennis ball toss.
