There are many ways that YOU can help support The Town of West Hartford’s, Town That Cares Charity Fund this weekend.

“As the summer approaches our food donations decrease, however our needs are still here. We still need to service the individuals that visit the pantry all year. Our stock is starting to deplete rapidly. We also provide backpacks with school supplies to qualified West Hartford students. Every school in the West Hartford district has had students benefit from this program in past years. With all the budget cuts we need to find ways in which to fund and continue all of our programs. West Hartford is such a caring community and we are always amazed at the support that The Town That Cares receives from town residents. It is all about neighbors helping neighbors," said Barbara Roberts, Volunteer Coordinator.

At , the Town That Cares will be face painting, selling tie-dyed lollipops, and recycling cans and bottles, all to benefit programs for West Hartford residents of need. The Town That Cares tent will be located in front of Town Hall’s main doors.
