Fernridge Pool to Remain Open Through Wednesday
Other West Hartford outdoor pools closed for the season on Sunday.
will remain open for a few more days, according to Director of Human and Leisure Services Jim Capodiece.
The weather forecast is for sunshine and temperatures in the low to mid 80s for the next two days according to the National Weather Service. don't open until Wednesday, Aug. 29, and Capodiece said he was able to round up enough lifeguards from throughout town to staff one pool for a few more days.
The pool will be open from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 21 and Wednesday, Aug. 22.
