West Hartford Turns Out for Free Ice Cream Sandwiches

Hood Ice Cream celebrated National Ice Cream Sandwich Day by giving away ice cream at in West Hartford on Thursday, Aug. 2.

West Hartford was just one of four New England locations chosen by the company for the celebration of one of their signature products. The Hood Ice Cream Sandwich character also took photos with kids and families.

This first annual celebration of National Ice Cream Sandwich Day was also held in Boston, MA; Hampton Beach, NH; and Portland, ME.
