Our Doors are Open for You

The LOL Club cuts its ribbons, becomes non-profit.

Hello West Hartford -

We are very grateful to the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Scott Slifka for joining us on Monday in a lovely ribbon cutting ceremony. (Read the Patch article here).

With the ceremony comes big news from our end... The LOL Club is proud to announce that we have officially a non-profit community center here for your children. A non-profit status better embodies what it is we do here at LOL and the spirit of our mission.

This weekend (1/12-13) and next (1/19-20) come on by, bring your kids, and get to know us. We'll be hosting an open house, plus Saturday hip-hop classes from 2-4pm.

Quick re-cap: Despite our name, we are not a comedy club, but rather an innovative community center with the goal of providing low-cost academic support and a safe, fun environment to your children. We located right in the heart of town (7 N Main St), just offset from the corner of Farmington and N Main, so stop in and say hello!

Our mission is simple: We provide a nurturing space designed specifically for the needs of middle- and high-school aged students for academic support and personal enrichment.

This week we ask you to share your stories. Has a student in your life impressed you with an act of courage or kindness? Tell us how. :)
