We're on the first leg of our trip to JFK. the kids are vey excited. One of my favorite things so far is my student who just started a biography of Miriam Makeba, the great South African singer. I have a book I can't wait to start called "Mother to Mother" about the killing of Amy Biehl. We'll be visiting the place where she was killed.
