Bethany Lutheran Church Serves Meals to Those in Need
The West Hartford church cooked more than 30,000 healthy lentil casseroles with the Feeding Children Everywhere program.
The Bethany Lutheran Church recently helped 30,240 local families eat a healthy and delicious meal through the Feeding Children Everywhere program, according to the West Hartford News website.
Church volunteers formed assembly lines to mass produce lentil casseroles which were then delivered to crisis food pantries at public schools, the West Hartford News article said.
