Ben & Jerry's will contribute 20% of the sales that evening to "Blankets for Dialysis".
Since 2005, we have made over 250 blankets for dialysis patients. Dialysis is a medical treatment for people with end stage renal (kidney) disease. Most dialysis patients receive treatment 3 times per week for 3-4 hours at a time. As patients often feel cold and uncomfortable during these long treatments, these colorful blankets help to keep warm their bodies as well as their hearts while they undergo this procedure.
