Good morning, West Hartford! Today is Dec. 30, 2013; there is one day left in the year. Make the most of it. Like me. Chances are, I’m still in my pajama pants, and will be until Jan. 2.
Anyhoo, 2013 was quite a year. My wife and I had a baby, who currently is destroying our lives as we know them. Right now, Kaitlin is trying to feed him strained carrots. In exchange, I am writing this week ahead.
I got the better end of the deal, by far, as she is wearing far more carrot than the baby has eaten.
As I said before, they make babies cute so we don’t kill them.
Happy New Year!
Here are five things going on this week:
1. New Year’s Eve is Tuesday. Any plans?
2. Gustafer Yellowgold’s is at the Noah Webster House on Dec. 31.
3. The Hall boys basketball team plays South Windsor on Monday at 7 p.m. in West Hartford.
4. The Hall/Conard girls ice hockey cooperative faces Amity on Dec. 30 at 7 p.m.5. The Conard High boys basketball team faces Bacon Academy on the road on Monday, while the girls basketball team squares off against Bristol Central at home.
