West Hartford Food Pantry Winter Food Needs

Here at the West Hartford Food Pantry we received some incredible donations over the past few months. Everyone in the community was more than generous and we are so thankful for all your help this season!

However, now that the holidays are over and everyone is back to work and school, we are running low on a few particular items. You can help by donating groceries, organizing a neighborhood food drive or making a financial donation to the West Hartford Food Pantry.

At this time we are in urgent need of the following items:

  • Peanut Butter (16-18oz)
  • Canned Fruit
  • Bagged or boxed rice (standard size)
  • Canned Baked Beans

Right now we are fully stocked with canned soups and vegetables but desperately need the above items to provide a full grocery bag. It is helpful to receive “normal” sized goods instead of “family” sizes so that we can distribute a variety of items to each family. Please note that we cannot accept expired foods.

Food donations can be dropped off in the lobby of Town Hall by the information desk Monday-Friday.
